Morning everyone - on this wet and dreary Irish morning!
Working in my studio while listening to music on 2fm, going to have a break shortly for a coffee and to watch "Home and Away"! :)
This piece can be shown several ways so I am putting up four different ways it can be seen as I couldn't decide which way to put it up!
Have a lovely day everyone!

Well everybody - St. Patrick's Day came and went, gone now for another year! Had a relaxing day myself and a few glasses of wine to 'drown' the good oul shamrock!

I have been working on textures again today and enjoying it -  I am putting up my latest pieces for you to see.  They are in the early stages of working and they might be much different by the time I finish them! I love creating the texture and then putting on loose paint and inks and letting them run throughout the dips and hollows of the texture and seeing where it will take me. :)

St. Patrick's day here in Ireland today, parades everywhere including our town.
Weather not good, dull and rainy and we had lots of snow first thing this morning but it didn't stick to the ground for long thank God. :) My daughter Severene's birthday today - happy birthday again Sev!
Putting up a quick studies I did on texture and a little seaside themed painting on textures with shells etc.,

Have a good day wherever you are in the world and don't drink too much on this St. Patrick's Day :)

Mother's day here today! Off out soon to an 'unknown' destination with my family :). Absolutely freezing out and high winds, winter is back!As they say "March of many weathers" - so true! Will take my woolies back out I think! I did a little 8" x 8" acrylic painting for a charity auction in aid of two little boys who have a rare disease - a bit different than usual but I give give you all a glimpse of it before it goes off in the post to see what you think of it. I'm calling it "The enchanted wood - coming into the light". :)

Hi everyone! :)

Did these little sketches today, the strawberry was a 2 minute one and the shell covered with the seaweed root was about 20 minutes! Trying to get into daily sketching or at least a few times a week as I haven't done it for a while and its great for observation skills and getting out of the logical side of the mind as you just don't have time to think! You learn quite a lot drawing this way. :)
